AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing or using ArcaneStat ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

The App is operated by Noah Contreras ("we", "us", "our") as an independent project.


DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

ArcaneStat is a companion application for the video game Deadlock. The App allows users to:

- View their personal Deadlock match statistics
- Track their performance over time
- Receive personalized coaching tips based on their playstyle and goals
- Compare their performance across different heroes

The App fetches match data from the public deadlock-api.com service. We are not affiliated with Valve Corporation, the developer of Deadlock, or with the deadlock-api.com project.


ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.


USER ACCOUNTS

You are responsible for:

- Providing accurate information when creating your account
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


ACCEPTABLE USE

When using the App, you agree NOT to:

- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App in ways that would degrade service for others
- Submit false or misleading information (such as someone else's Steam Account ID without their permission)
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls


MATCH DATA AND STEAM INFORMATION

The App fetches match data using the Steam Account ID you provide. By using the App, you confirm that:

- You have the right to look up the data associated with the Steam ID you provide
- You understand that match data comes from the public deadlock-api.com service and may be incomplete, delayed, or occasionally inaccurate
- You will not use the App to track, harass, or violate the privacy of other Deadlock players


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you provide to the App (such as your display name and preferences).

Our App: The App, including its design, code, branding, and features, is owned by Noah Contreras and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Third-Party Content: Hero names, hero artwork, and game-related assets shown in the App are the property of Valve Corporation. We use these under fair use for the purpose of providing a companion service to Deadlock players.


SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We strive to keep the App available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The App depends on third-party services (Firebase, deadlock-api.com) that we do not control. We are not liable for downtime, data delays, or service interruptions caused by these dependencies or by circumstances outside our control.

We reserve the right to:

- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Perform maintenance that may temporarily limit availability
- Limit access to the App in regions or for users where required by law


FREE SERVICE

The App is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, with clear notice to users before any charges apply. Existing free features will not be retroactively gated behind payment without notice.


DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

- The App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
- Match data will always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
- Coaching tips will improve your gameplay
- The App will meet your specific needs or expectations


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOAH CONTRERAS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Loss of data
- Loss of in-game ranking or progress
- Decisions made based on App-provided information
- Service interruptions

Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months. (For free users, this is zero.)


INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Noah Contreras from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.


CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the App.


TERMINATION

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms other users or the service.


GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Duval County, Florida.
